Event

We are excited to inform you about the upcoming Take Our Kids to Work Day (TOKTW) on Wednesday, November 5th. This annual event provides Grade 9 students with the opportunity to explore various career options and gain valuable insights into the working world by spending a day at a workplace.

What is TOKTW Day? Take Our Kids to Work Day is a national initiative that allows students to experience a day in the life of a professional. It helps them understand the skills required in different professions and the importance of education in achieving their career goals.

How Can Your Child Participate?

  1. Find a Host: Students can spend the day with a parent, relative, or family friend at their workplace. If this is not possible, please contact the school, and we will assist in finding a suitable placement.
  2. Permission Form: Please complete this digital form:
  3. Preparation: Encourage your child to prepare questions and think about what they would like to learn during their visit.

Benefits of Participation:

  • Exposure to different career paths
  • Understanding workplace expectations and skills
  • Building connections and networking
  • Gaining motivation and direction for future education and career choices

We believe that TOKTW Day is a valuable experience that can inspire and motivate students as they begin to think about their future careers. If you have any questions or need further information, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Thank you for your support in making this day a success for our students.
