ABOUT US

Bienvenue! Welcome! École Neil Campbell School is an early years school with a community of approximately 340 students. As a dual track elementary school, we offer instruction in French Immersion and English classes from kindergarten to grade 5.

Please see the Parents & Community section of our website for regularly updated information.

The school was named for East Kildonan Councillor and School Trustee Neil Campbell, and opened within the East Kildonan School District in 1956. It was officially unveiled on November 19, 1956 as an eight-room building that hosted grades 1 to 6. Its construction was to help alleviate overcrowding at Lord Wolseley School and Prince Edward School. In 1960 the facility was expended to add a gymnasium and the two-storey classroom wing. Additional capacity was added again in 1968-1969, and an elevator was later added for more accessibility.
